What's being discussed right now?

Virtual Assessment with Employers

I want to ensure every project brief is based on actual industry briefs. What would be great would be if industry professionals also supported assessment of these... has anyone out there had any success in persuading employers to act as assessors - we are thinking busy people would be more likely to Skype in than to come in person... any thoughts?

How do you engage your Governors?

I am working on an action research project to help Governors make better decisions when it comes resourcing IT. We have had a number of 'white elephants' in the past - as a result of fads, initiatives like this pushing technology (we have a cupboard full of hand-held video cameras... all students use their smartphones)... just wondered what people on here thought?
